I have downloaded some files that are only 16kbps. On my Creative Zen Jukebox these files play at half speed and are difficult to understand.

Any way to speed them up at the download point?

If you will download the trial software @ nch.com "switch" and "wave pad", you can change speed from 16 to 32, 64,128bit and edit.

There are only 2 or 3 files so before I lay out any bucks I'll see what else works.

The MS conversion format doesn't work.

If using Windows Media Player there are little buttons that look like fast forward buttons on either side of the song location bar, or close to it. They can increase song speed on lower bitrate files...
